Sonar "Hydra"

Side-scan sonar (SSS) of ultra-high resolution of the Hydra series, combined with a forward-looking locator (FLO).
The sonar has an ultra-high range resolution (1 cm). Using a frequency of 700 kHz, the SSS provides high-quality real-time images of the bottom with photographic quality in a viewing band of up to 230 m.
The forward-looking locator can operate simultaneously with the SSS and allows detecting objects and obstacles in the water column along the course of the apparatus. By determining the direction and dimensions of the object, the FLO allows assessing the degree of danger and the method of bypassing the obstacle.

EchoLogger Sonar


The Echologger circular scanning sonar is designed for search operations, inspection operations and improving ROV navigation. The operating frequency is 900 kHz, the scanning radius is 60 m.
